Sunday, Sept 13th (Pre-Festival Event)

2009 Cranberry Festival Golf Skills Competition (2:00PM-4:00PM)

Cranberry Driving Range on Route 322

$5 Entry fee / prizes and lots of fun / Free T-Shirts & goodie bags for first 50 entrants

 

Tuesday, Sept 15th (Pre-Festival Event)
Fisher & Father Zero Turn Obstacle Course
Fisher & Father, 2449 State Route 257, Cranberry  -  2PM-6PM
$2 entry fee per try. Be the fastest thru the obstacle course to win prizes. Prizes awarded by Fisher & Father. John Deere zero turn tractor provided. Proceeds benefit the free children’s activities at the festival.

Jungle Terry’s Traveling Zoo
Cranberry Mall 6-8 PM
Walk together as a family for your chance to win free pizza & movie passes, and enjoy interactive presentation by Jungle Terry's Traveling Zoo. See safari animals like snakes, turtles, alligators & more in person... and even pet them, too!

Wednesday, Sept 16th (Pre-Festival Event)

Festival Fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner 5PM - 7PM

Christian Life Academy Building in Seneca

Free to 3 years and under. $3.00 for 4-10 yrs old.  $6.50 for all others.

All proceeds benefit the Children's activities at the Festival

Free for area businesses, non-profits, families, or individuals. Wooden mounting post provided. Build your own scarecrow from old jeans, shirts, hats, boots, hay, etc. Be creative!

Note: Following the awards ceremony at 8:30PM, participants may pick up their artwork. Artwork can also be picked up on Saturday morning between 9am-Noon.

Cranberry Festival Buttons are available for $5 each (250 Buttons Total). There will be three $100 drawings on Saturday September 20th during the Cranberry Festival. You need not be present to win. Buttons may be purchased at the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce or CS Technologies Plus or from any Festival Committee Member.  Call 676-8521 for more info!

Festival Planning Meeting

The Cranberry Festival Committee meets a few times early in the year and regularly in the couple months prior to the Festival.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  We are always looking for volunteers! The committee is always looking for some fresh ideas to help the Festival grow.   All interested parties should contact Lisa Groner at 677-2447 ext *740 (day) or 676-1195 (evenings and weekends).
