French and Indian War Encampment

French, British, and Native re-enactors will depict life during 1750s and the time of the French & Indian War. At least 20 will participate. Highlights of this one-day encampment -- among other things -- will include a blacksmith and cannon and musket firing demonstrations.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the construction of Fort Machault built by the French in 1756 which was located in present-day Franklin, PA.

Wander through a historic encampment where re-enactors will be in authentic regalia.
